Belgium: 4 young African entrepreneurs win the Awa 2022 Prize

Originating from Morocco, Mali, Rwanda and Burundi, the 4 winners of this first edition of the Awa Prize, organized by the Belgian development agency "Enabel", were rewarded on Thursday, January 26 in Brussels, during a ceremony organized in the presence of Queen Mathilde of Belgium and Caroline Gennez, Belgian Minister for Development Cooperation and Urban Policy.

The Awa Award aims to reward promising initiatives of women entrepreneurs in Africa and the Middle East and to promote women's leadership.

From more than 2,400 applications from 16 countries, the Belgian Development Cooperation selected 12 winners in four categories . . .
