On May 15, by decree of the President of the French Republic, Agnès Diallo, 47, was appointed Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of IN Groupe ( Formerly Imprimerie Nationale), while retaining her position as Chief Executive Officer, which she has held since July 2024. She thus becomes the Chairwoman and CEO of the French group specialized in digital identities, secure transactions, and digital services.
In July 2024, the French government took a decisive step in IN Groupe’s governance by merging the roles of CEO and Board Chair. This strategic decision was guided by a clear ambition: to give new momentum to the company’s transformation.
Upon unanimous recommendation of the Board, Agnès Diallo was officially appointed Chairwoman of the Board of Directors on May 15, 2025, during a Council of Ministers meeting. This appointment was formalized by a presidential decree.

Graduating from Sciences Po Paris in 1998 with a degree in political science and government, she quickly developed a nuanced understanding of institutional dynamics and public policy. She then pursued further excellence at ESSEC Business School-ranked among Europe’s top institutions-earning an MBA in 2000, with a focus on finance, budgeting, and management control. There, she sharpened her financial strategy skills and developed a sharp eye for change management and complex organizational transformation.
Driven by ambition and a global outlook, she then moved to the U.S., where she won the prestigious Fulbright scholarship. She attended the Harvard Kennedy School between 2003 and 2005, earning a Master in Public Administration – International Development (MPA-ID). Agnès Diallo’s professional career began at Arthur Andersen, then a top audit firm. For three years, she worked as an auditor, conducting financial audits and quality reviews of consolidated accounts for mid- to large-sized international firms. There, she developed analytical rigor and a keen sense for detail while strengthening her skills in financial planning, risk management, and internal controls.
A Decade of Strategy at McKinsey
In 2006, she joined the prestigious consulting firm McKinsey & Company, where she spent over ten pivotal years. Starting as a junior consultant, she climbed the ranks to become Senior Partner—a key strategic role within the firm.
She built recognized expertise in corporate strategy, organizational transformation, and large-scale change management, advising both public and private clients across the globe. She led high-stakes programs from end to end: project management, client relations, and coordinating multidisciplinary international teams across the U.S., Scandinavia, the Middle East, and Asia.
Highlights of her work include: Merging two major national public agencies to improve services for job seekers.; developing a growth strategy for a global IT services leader; Overhauling the operations of an international automotive company for global operational excellence.
Between 2010 and 2013, she also served as Chief of Staff to a global operating committee member at McKinsey, in charge of Marketing and Communications. There, she helped shape the firm’s global future, deploying a new influence strategy and innovative go-to-market models to anticipate client needs and create new value.
Driving Global Performance at Atos
In 2016, she joined Atos, a major player in Europe’s digital transformation, as Senior Vice President and member of the monthly global finance committee. Based in Paris and reporting directly to the COO and CEO, she led the “TOP” (Transformation of Operations and the Business) division,a global program to sustainably improve group performance through process, model, and growth lever transformation.
Managing a portfolio of over 100 projects worldwide, her initiatives yielded over €500 million in annual margin gains, significantly boosting Atos’s competitiveness and profitability.
In 2018, she became Senior Vice President in Atos’s global sales executive team, where she oversaw commercial performance levers and led efforts to align sales forces with client needs and accelerate organic growth.
An Expert in Digital Sovereignty
At IN Groupe, Agnès Diallo fully reveals the breadth of her technological and strategic vision in support of European digital sovereignty. In 2019, she joined the group as Executive Vice President in charge of the “Digital Identity & Services” division, a field at the heart of trust, security, and state transformation challenges.
Building on this initial, high-impact role, which allowed her to make her mark on a rapidly evolving sector, she continued her rise within the company. In 2022, she was appointed Managing Director in charge of performance, strategy, and mergers & acquisitions. At the Helm of eu-LISA: Building Europe’s Secure Data Infrastructure
In early 2023, her expertise led to her appointment as Executive Director of eu-LISA, the EU agency for large-scale IT systems managing internal security, border control, and judicial cooperation in the Schengen area.
She led one of the world’s largest sovereign digital infrastructures, overseeing the deployment of interoperable platforms like the Entry/Exit System (EES), among the most advanced globally.
Under her leadership, eu-LISA developed and operated critical systems for border management, police and judicial cooperation, migration control, and digital mobility, serving over 30 European countries and 1.5 billion people worldwide.
In an era of hybrid threats, cybersecurity and personal data protection have become strategic pillars. Agnès Diallo brought to the agency a governance style that combined technological performance, digital sovereignty, and democratic accountability at the heart of the European project.
