Alexandra Awadi, new Managing Director of Bridge Bank Senegal

Launched on December 16, 2021, Bridge Bank Senegal is the new subsidiary of Bridge Group West Africa (BGWA), itself a subsidiary of Teyliom Finance, one of the multiple branches of the Teyliom Group, owned by the powerful but very discreet Senegalese businessman, Yérim Habib Sow.

Teyliom is a pan-African group based in sub-Saharan Africa with a strong presence in various business sectors in West and Central Africa such as real estate, hotels, finance, industry, energy, logistics and telecommunications.

Since 2006, Bridge Group West Africa has also launched Bridge Bank Group Côte d’Ivoire (BBG CI).

After 4 months of activities, Bridge Bank Senegal has two agencies, one of which, located at the Place de l’Independence, also serves as the head office, open to corporate clients, especially SMEs and individuals.

Prior to her new position, Alexandra Awadi was the General Manager of Banque Atlantique Sénégal. She has 16 years of experience acquired within the BCP Group of Morocco, in various positions of responsibility.

Alexandra Awadi joined Banque Atlantique Sénégal in 2006, as a business manager for small and medium-sized companies, before successively holding the positions of business manager for companies and institutions, head of the large companies and structured finance department. She then became Director of Corporate Clients before being appointed Deputy General Manager in charge of development at Banque Atlantique Sénégal.

Alexandra Awadi is a graduate of the University of Paris-Est Créteil (UPEC) and the Paris School of Business. She holds a Master’s degree in purchasing management and two Master’s degrees in economic and social administration, with a major in business management and international trade and business.
