Ecobank Group has announced, on February 20, the appointment of Ghanaian career banker, Mrs. Josephine Anan-Ankomah as the Regional Executive, Central, Eastern and Southern African (CESA) and Managing Director, Ecobank Kenya. She replaces Senegalese Cheikh Travaly who retired in December 2022 after 21 years at the Bank and after attaining the mandatory retirement age of 60 years in accordance with Ecobank Group policy.
A well respected and highly experienced international banker, Josephine Anan-Ankomah has for 30 years played various key roles in treasury management, strategy implementation, investment banking and commercial banking.
